By accessing or using Our Story Together ("the Service"), operated at ourstorytogether.ca, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Our Story Together is a date planning and memory-keeping platform for couples. The Service allows users to plan dates, record memories, share journals, create wishlists, and use AI-powered features to enhance their relationship experiences.

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information during registration
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account and use the Service.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you submit, post, or display through the Service, including photos, journal entries, and date memories ("User Content"). By posting User Content, you grant us a limited license to store, display, and process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

You agree not to post content that:

  • Violates any applicable law or regulation
  • Infringes on the intellectual property rights of others
  • Contains harmful, offensive, or inappropriate material
  • Attempts to interfere with or compromise the Service

5. Subscriptions & Billing

The Service offers free and paid subscription tiers (Plus and Pro). For paid subscriptions:

  • Payment is processed securely through Stripe
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis; please contact us for assistance

We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice. Existing subscribers will be notified before any price changes take effect on their accounts.

6. Partner Linking

The Service allows you to link your account with a partner. By sending an invite link, you consent to sharing relevant date plans, memories, and journal entries with your linked partner. Either partner may unlink at any time through the settings page.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity of the Service
  • Use automated tools to scrape or collect data from the Service
  • Impersonate any person or entity

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or engage in prohibited conduct. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your User Content may be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

AI-generated date suggestions and recommendations are provided for inspiration and convenience. We are not responsible for the outcomes of any date or activity you choose to pursue.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Our Story Together shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
